The World Mining Congress was formed in 1958 and is affiliated to the United Nations. It was set up to promote worldwide scientific and technological co-operation and information exchange in the fields of mining science, safety and environmental protection.

The 26th Congress will be held in Brisbane in 2023 and the overall theme is “Resourcing Tomorrow: Creating Value for Society.”

International cut through
There are many mining conferences that take place each year. Some of these are specific for particular interest groups, others are more general. WMC 2023 is more general and the program looks to the future of global mining and resources in a challenging environment.

We worked with CSIRO and the WMC 2023 Chair to establish an appropriate identity for the conference and one that reflects the core themes of technology, connection and transformation. Brand identity guidelines have been developed and these have been applied to a range of marketing material.
